Lichen Planus

It is an inflammatory condition of the skin and mucous membrane. On the skin, lichen planus appears as purplish, itchy, flat topped bumps. On mucous membranes, such as in the mouth, it forms lacy, white patches, sometimes with painful sores.

Vitiligo

Vitiligo is a disorder in which white patches of skin appear on different parts of the body. This happens because the cells that make pigment (colour) in the skin are destroyed. These cells are called melanocytes. Vitiligo can also affect the mucous membranes and the eye.

Eczema

Eczema is the chronic inflammation of the skin. It begins as red, raised tiny blisters containing a clear fluid on top of red, elevated plaques. In older eczema, the blisters are less prominent and the skin is thickened, elevated and scaling. Eczema almost always is very itchy.
